We’re only truly secure when we can look out our kitchen window and see our food growing and out friends working nearby. – Bill Mollison
Founder of the Strawberry Fields Ecovillage and Foundation. In between his engagement in the ecovillage and family life, he runs a small graphic design company. Husband, father of two sons. The idea of establishing an ecovillage came out of the need to act in the face of the unsettling changes on Earth and out of the passion for permaculture, natural building and awareness that together we can do more. He dreams of the Strawberry Fields to develop into a stable, self-sufficient community, settling a model and spreading knowledge about living in harmony with nature.

No tree becomes rooted and sturdy unless many a wind assails it. – Seneka Młodszy
Working in a zoo for years. In love not only with animals but also with plants, he is looking for a new quality of contact with nature in the Strawberry Fields. Inspired by books and a permaculture design course, he dreams of a multidimensional balance around him. A “silent dreamer” believing that anybody can find such a balance.

Julia Kopycka
Therapist and youth trainer, she works in an addiction treatment centre. Interested in phytotherapy and five phases of food.
She feels aligned with community ideas and engagement in voluntary projects. Thanks to the Foundation, she would like to learn about permaculture during activities for and together with the local community, in the midst of nature and in the name of broadly understood ecology.
